At Beauty Ink we believe that perfectly groomed and sculpted brows are essential to enhance your unique facial features and frame your face.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT?

An initial brow visit with one of our experienced brow specialists will begin with a consultation. This will allow us to discuss what you are wanting to achieve and how you like your brows to look. We will then do a full brow mapping, shaping, and waxing/tweezing to create your unique brow shape. If needed, we will tint or dye your brows to enhance the colour and fill in any gaps and finally we will finish by styling your brows to perfection. We also allow time to recommend the best products for you to use to maintain your brows at home between visits and we can give you a mini lesson on how to apply these products.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY BROWS DONE?

Maintenance treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks for best results. If you leave any longer between visits you can reduce the longevity of your tint and can lose the shape of the brows.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

Avoid using strong peels or creams on the brow area such as Retinol, this can make the skin too thin and can cause skin lifting when waxing. If you currently use Retinol, please let your brow specialist know so we can tweeze rather than wax. Avoid fake tan on your face 7 days prior to your appointment as.this can alter the colour of the tint. Avoid tweezing your brows between visits as this will cause irregular growth cycles and will not allow us to get all the hairs out at once.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DYE AND TINT?

Both tint and dye are great options for colouring brow hairs to enhance the shape, deepen colour, fill in gaps or cover greys. They will both last on the actual hair for around 4-6 weeks.

If you prefer a more natural looking brow, you would be best to opt for a tint as it colours only the hairs and will give you that soft natural finish.

However, if you prefer a more bold, structured, or defined brow then the dye will not only colour the hair but also provides a “skin stain” for up to 14 days.

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

A lash lift is a process in which the natural lashes are curled and lifted, making the natural lashes appear much longer, darker and more visible.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

For best results, arrive to your appointment makeup free and remove contact lenses. Lashes cannot be wet for 24 hours after a lash lift, so plan accordingly.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A LASH LIFT?

Lash lifts will last anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks, we recommend a lash lift every 8 to 12 weeks to maintain the lash health. We also recommend using our Beachy Lash growth serum between visits to strengthen and grow the lashes.
